
Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge is now compatible with Google Drive natively via Google’s latest update. Galaxy Book 4 Edge with the Galaxy AI Ecosystem launched last year. Google has released a native ARM64 version of its Google Drive application for Windows, which makes Samsung’s Galaxy Book 4 Edge and other Windows PCs powered by ARM chipset compatible with Google Drive, seamlessly and synced files directly.
Initially, late last year, Google introduced a beta version of the Drive app for Windows on ARM, which offered basic functionality and lacked the full stability & integration that x86-based PCs had. Now, with the latest stable update, users can access their Drive files directly from Windows File Explorer.
The new native Google Drive app for Windows on ARM devices delivers seamless integration with the overall Windows ecosystem, resulting in easier file uploading and syncing. However, users must have Microsoft WebView2 installed on their system, which is usually included in Windows 11. If it’s not available, the app will prompt the user to install it during the setup process.
Finally, Google Drive works directly on ARM-based Windows devices such as Galaxy Book 4 Edge, This means that users can easily and effortlessly save and sync their files without needing any third-party source. Noticeably, the new Google Drive app built the ARM laptops even better for daily use.
