Galaxy S25’s Now Brief might make its way to more older devices, including S23

While Samsung already showed signs of expanding the Galaxy S25 series’ exclusive Now Brief feature to the Galaxy S24 lineup smartphones with the current One UI 7 Beta 6, it’s quite possible that more older flagships, including the S23 series or other foldable, may receive the feature lately!

The Galaxy S24 series owners have been currently testing the One UI 7 Beta 6 update, with the stable update scheduled for April 7; the latest beta build got a new functionality, Now Brief to the S24 models, which was apparently hidden under some settings.

Since a previous report revealed that the S25’s exclusive Now Brief could make its way to the Galaxy S24 series devices through the stable update, a user uncovered the feature using a hack via the activity launcher (via sammobile) on his own device running One UI 7 Beta 6 build.

Therefore, it’s quite possible that this hack could work on more devices and as a result the Now Brief feature might arrive to Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6 and more older Galaxy models; however, Samsung has already denied the fact of expanding Now Brief functionality to more Galaxy devices.

As far as the Now Brief expansion to more older Galaxy smartphones is concerned and being a handy feature, hopefully Samsung may provide the feature to more smartphones and foldables either with stable One UI 7 build or with an additional update, but, of course, at the end it’s all up to Samsung what it decides.
