Samsung maintained its leading legacy by becoming the global leader in soundbars for the 11th consecutive year, building on its 19th-year dominance in the global TV market.
Reportedly, according to data from market research firm FutureSource Consulting, Samsung accounted for a 20 percent revenue share of global soundbar revenue and 18.4 percent of total sales volume in 2024.
The Korean tech giant has been leading the market for 11 years since 2014 and shows no signs of slowing down. One of the key reasons behind this leading legacy is the seamless way Samsung’s soundbars work with its TVs.
The company focuses on offering immersive audio experience via its soundbars, paired with smart features and sleek design. Noticeably, the 2024 flagship HW-Q990D model is in heavy demand among customers for its performance. It features Q-Symphony technology, which syncs audio from the soundbar and TV speaker for an enhanced and more layered sound.
It is compatible with adapting the sound based on the room and the content being played through AI-powered audio optimization. Interested customers can buy it directly from Samsung.com at $1,499. Samsung’s EVP of visual display business, Hun Lee, states, “We’re proud to be recognized as the global leader in soundbars for 11 consecutive years and believe this honor is a testament to our commitment to delivering premium audio experiences.”
The company is still actively working on building this momentum with its new 2025 lineup that brings new and enhanced AI features, better connectivity, and efficiently upgraded audio processing to further the home audio experience to new heights.
