Samsung Just Did Something Better Than Android Auto in One UI 7

Android Auto is one of Google’s most useful platforms that significantly provides users a safe driving experience by allowing them to connect their Android smartphones to the car’s dashboard. Meanwhile, Samsung seems to have developed a dedicated service that not only resembles Android Auto but is much better in terms of functionality.

Samsung Auto: A New Android Auto Alternative for Galaxy Phones

Samsung came up with its own version, namely Samsung Auto, which is, however, exclusive to China, as Android Auto service is unavailable in the country.

More specifically, as uncovered by Android Authority, Samsung Auto happens to be a superior clone of Google’s Android Auto and offers plenty of functionalities that are more or less identical to Android Auto. Also, the platform has a new location-based navigation feature that is needed to be acquired by Google.

Indeed, Android Auto has several amazing features, but this capability should stand above all.

Basically, sometimes drivers need to change their destination while driving other than what has been fed earlier. Changing the destination can be done by providing a voice command in Android Auto, but this task could be challenging as it forces drivers to slightly remove their focus from the road in order to enter the correct location while driving.

At the same time, Samsung Auto’s location-based navigation function comes to the rescue as it automatically scans all the incoming messages for locations and further provides an option to change the destination on the car’s display. Once the user receives a location-based message, Samsung Auto notifies them with a button that will allow users to navigate to the destination.

This proves to be a helpful feature where the person who is driving doesn’t drive the focus off the road. At the same time, Google’s Android Auto needs to adopt this functionality in order to avoid any distractions while driving.
