Android 16 Beta 4’s strange bug vanishes the battery health for a few users

Google seems to be setting its sights on releasing Android 16 early, aiming for Q2, 2025 (June). Now that the company has rolled out Android 16 Beta 4 not only for Pixel devices, but more devices from other Android partners can also test the newest build. However, a strange bug was spotted that resulted in the disappearance of the Battery health page.
According to information provided by Android Police via 9To5Google, the Battery health page goes missing right after installing the latest Android 16 Beta 4 build.
More specifically, Google is going smoothly with the work of Android 16, but everything doesn’t seem to be perfect, at least for now. Basically, a bug is preventing users from checking their phone’s battery status; at the same time, it is quite possible that Google has removed this feature completely.
This situation is a matter of disappointment for the users as it significantly allows users to check their phone’s battery health and can simply track its functionality in order to compare it with the stats when the device was newly purchased.
Thankfully, it was also seen that the users have even reported that they were able to get back their phone’s battery health stats by rebooting their device. At the same time, Google appears to have provided a fix for the bug which requires users to update Google Play Services to its latest version (25.14.62) as users (via Reddit) informed that this update solved the issue; however, the battery numbers don’t seem so accurate.
Well, the Android 16 beta 4 still belongs to the stage of development where certain bugs and glitches are common. On the comparison side, Samsung’s One UI 7 is also struggling due to the attack of certain bugs like battery icon goes missing, and a glitch in Secure Folder.
