Samsung Wallet’s ‘Tap to Transfer’ feature availability expanded to the US

Samsung is looking forward to expanding the Samsung Wallet’s Tap to Transfer feature in the US soon to enhance the money transferring experience.

The Korean tech giant plans to make its digital Wallet more convenient for US users by making it easier to send money via the Tap to Transfer feature. This feature will allow users to send money to their friends and family members just by a single tap on their phones.

It’s officially announced that Samsung Wallet’s new Tap to Transfer feature for person-to-person payments will be available in the US later this month. The feature will also be convenient for sending money to someone’s Samsung Wallet even in case when they are not nearby.

The Tap to Transfer feature is compatible with sending money to someone’s bank account without requiring any third-party apps such as Cash App or Venmo. It will allow users to send money via a Visa or Mastercard by tapping their phone with the recipient’s phone.

One of the key facts of this feature is that it is made over NFC, so it might be possible that the recipient could be using a third-party wallet application rather than Samsung Wallet, but they will still be compatible with receiving money. In case the person is not nearby whom you want to transfer money to, you can send it to their Samsung Wallet directly by searching for their phone number in the app.
