Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is around the corner, setting the stage on fire with its slim design and superior durability with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.
The Korean tech giant has already announced that it will launch the Galaxy S25 Edge on 13 May at 9 am KST, whereas on May 12 at 8 pm EDT and 5 pm PDT via its official YouTube channel.
Initially, it was rumoured that Samsung would use ceramic glass on the back for the Galaxy S25 Edge, although later it was reported that it could feature ceramic glass on the front side.

Now, a new report is against all the previous leaks, as the device will feature new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. Samsung officially revealed that the Galaxy S25 Edge features a new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for enhanced durability.
It extends the legendary toughness and a sleek, strong design. Kwangjin Bae, EVP and Head of the Mechanical R&D Team of Mobile eXperience Business (MX) at Samsung Electronics, states, “Galaxy S25 Edge will set a new standard for craftsmanship and performance as our slimmest Galaxy S series device yet.”
The new Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 features crystals intricately embedded within its glass matrix, which improves the durability and crack deflection capabilities of the display cover. It will be interesting to see exactly how durable and strong this new Ceramic 2 glass is and at what level it will protect the device.
