Samsung is continuing with the new June 2025 security update for all of its eligible Galaxy devices, and plenty of them have already received the update so far. Now, the company is looking forward to expanding the latest patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models in more countries.
Basically, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models are getting a new software update that significantly integrates the June 2025 security patch and is currently live in Canada, while the models already received the update in South Korea a week ago.
At the same time, the latest firmware for the devices has been identified with their respective build numbers, where the Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with F956WVLS2BYER, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 carries the build number F741WVLS2BYER.
Meanwhile, usually such updates are only minor security patches, and as per the details provided by Samsung, the latest June 2025 security patch, however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather, it significantly integrates plenty of key fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged in the previous version to provide a more secure user experience while also protecting the device against external threats.
In addition, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for efficient functionality and brings various optimizations to the device’s performance that apparently provide a smooth and stable experience to the users.
