Galaxy Z Fold 7 to Have 16GB RAM Variant

Samsung is just four days away from launching the next-generation foldable phones at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 in New York.

At the event, the company will launch at least three foldable phones: Galaxy Z Fold 7Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Apart from these devices, Samsung is also rumored to unveil its first-ever tri-fold phone (Galaxy G Fold).

In a few recent days, leaks and reports revealed almost all the details of the upcoming foldable phones regarding specifications, design, and key features. Now, a tipster, Anthony, on X, shared the storage details of the upcoming foldable phones.

According to the report, each foldable phone will have dedicated RAM options, which are as follows:

  • Galaxy Z Fold 7—16GB and 12GB RAM
  • Galaxy Z Flip 7—12GB RAM
  • Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE—8GB RAM

If the report comes true, then the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be available in two storage variants, including 16GB & 12GB of RAM, and it will be the first foldable in the Galaxy family to have a 16GB option. Whereas the rest of the two devices will only be available in single variants: Flip 7 in 12GB RAM and Flip 7 FE in 8GB RAM.

However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official details regarding the storage variants of the devices, so it remains to be seen whether the report will come true. The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in New York at 10 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. BST, and 4 p.m. CET. Interested fans can easily watch the live event on the company’s official platforms, including Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and the YouTube channel.
