No More Updates: Samsung Drops Two Galaxy Phones from Software Support List

Samsung released the July 2025 security patch details on its official site, and also refreshed the list of Galaxy devices that are eligible to get software support. At the same time there are tow more Galaxy Phones that are removed from here like Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
Galaxy F52 5G and Galaxy A22 5G are not eligible to get any update
Samsung Galaxy F52 and Galaxy A22 were launched back in 2021 and at that time Samsung follows the software update policy for a maximum of four years where the devices are eligible to get at least three major updates. Meanwhile the Galaxy F52 and Galaxy A22 5G fall under lower grade of only two major updates and three two year major updates and four year of security patches. It is worth noticing that the 4G version of Galaxy A22 is still in the list to get new updates
Now after getting crossed the limit of software update to four years, these devices are dropped from the official eligible device list. So being a user you will not get any advantages of features in the future.
It is worth noticing that the last update for the Galaxy F52 and A22 5G in March and February respectively. However those got the older patches because devices are switched in biannual update list.
