Samsung Adds Gemini AI to Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic

Samsung just launched the latest Galaxy Watch 8 & Galaxy Watch 8 Classic smartwatches, based on Wear OS 6, which arrive with pre-installed Gemini AI. Now, the Galaxy Watch 6 series has received the Gemini AI.

It’s been two days since Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 8 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event, featuring decent design, great specifications, and more advanced features, including Gemini AI. The newly launched watches are the first ones in the Galaxy Watch family to have pre-installed Gemini AI.

Now, the Korean tech giant is looking forward to expanding the availability of the voice assistant ‘Gemini AI’ to older Galaxy Watches that are running on at least the Wear OS 4 version and has already started with the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic smartphones.

A reliable tipster, @Alfaturk, shared a post on X, confirming that Gemini AI is now rolling out to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. This means that Samsung will completely replace the old Google Assistant with the more advanced Gemini.

The new Gemini AI integration will help you by understanding natural speech, giving instant answers, and more. You can easily start using Gemini just by saying “Hey Google,” holding down the side button, or clicking the Gemini app on your watch screen.

Currently, there’s no status regarding the Galaxy Watch 7 series, whether it has received the Gemini AI, but if not, then it could soon, since the company has already started rolling out, so in the coming days it will expand it to more eligible Galaxy Watches.
