Samsung’s One UI 7 brought up one of the most interactive features, Now Bar, that the Galaxy audience has been enjoying for a while now. Now, One UI 8 is supposed to be taking a step forward towards making the Now Bar’s functionality more effective, which the sports fans will love!
Basically, Now Bar is a more streamlined notification system that allows Galaxy users to directly engage with the key information right from their phone’s lock screen without unlocking their device. It’s a dynamic interface of live activities displayed at the bottom of the lock screen and at the top left corner of the home screen inside the pill-shaped bar.
Meanwhile, it appears like Now Bar is getting a key update where fans will be able to see sports scores and other related information at a glance. The report says users have been noticing that Now Bar is showing the win probability information alongside sports fixtures in sports matches.

The sports details are displayed in the form of a graph, which perhaps shows which team is appearing to win the match. This includes sports like cricket, soccer, and baseball, at least for now; however, the list is incomplete.

Apparently, the sports upgrade to the Now Bar is available on the Galaxy devices running both the One UI 7 and One UI 8 versions; thus, users don’t need to wait for One UI 8 to get the upgraded Now Bar into action. At the same time, Samsung has already suggested the integration of more apps (Live Activities) into the Now Bar feature, which will eventually make the Now Bar much more significant and useful.
