Galaxy M17 5G and F17 5G may be available with an 8GB RAM option

Samsung’s two upcoming budget-friendly Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G are now listed on Geekbench.

Under the hood, Samsung is developing several devices to introduce this year, including the Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Tab S11 series, Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tri Fold, XR Headset, and more. Apart from these flagship models, the company is also working on two affordable phones, the Galaxy M17 and the Galaxy F17

A few days back, the Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G had already appeared on the Google Play Console, and now a tipster, Mohammed Khatri, on X, shared a post revealing that both of these are listed on Geekbench with the dedicated build numbers, as mentioned below:

  • Galaxy M17 5G – M176BXXU1AYG9
  • Galaxy F17 5G – E176BXXU1AYG9

According to the listing, the single-core of the Galaxy M17 5G scored 762, while the multi-core scored 1,596. Noticeably, the Galaxy F17 5G performance is slightly better, as its single core scored 975 points and its multi-core scored 2,242.

Noticeably, the devices are based on Android 15-based One UI 7. This means they will run One UI 7 out of the box and not the latest One UI 8. Previously, it was reported that both devices would be integrated with 4GB of RAM; however, the latest benchmark listing revealed an 8GB RAM variant as well.
