Samsung Offers Free Galaxy S23 Series Screen Replacement for Green Line Problem

Samsung Galaxy phone owners, especially Galaxy S23 series owners, struggling with a green line issue, can relax now, as the company assures them it will offer a free screen repair facility up to December 31, 2025.

In case you missed it, the ‘green line issue’ is a persistent vertical green line that appears on the display, often without any physical damage to the phone. Unfortunately, it is a hardware problem and not a software glitch, so it is costly to fix the issue, as it requires screen replacement.

Noticeably, the Korean tech giant hasn’t denied that the green line on display is a quality issue, as OLED screens develop a thin vertical line after two years of usage. Regarding this issue, a reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, shared a post on X, claiming that Samsung India has extended its line on the display report policy, now covering the Galaxy S23 series.

For the past few weeks, the green line issue has been exacerbated among Galaxy S23 series users; however, now the company now offers free screen replacement till December 31, 2025. There are a few specific conditions: Your device must qualify for free replacement, which is as follows:

  • The device must be purchased within three years
  • It should be in good condition (no physical damage)
  • Pass the authorized service center inspection

In case you are struggling with the green line issue, you can visit the nearest Samsung service center and request a replacement.
