Samsung Galaxy Tri-Fold May Lack S Pen Compatibility

Samsung is gearing up to launch its multi-folding device, the Galaxy Tri-Fold, which may not be compatible with the S Pen, as a new report suggests.
This year, Samsung is quite active in expanding its leading presence in the foldable market by introducing innovative foldable phones. A few months back, it launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
Now it is looking forward to launching its first tri-folding phone, which is supposed to be called the Galaxy Tri-Fold. A tipster, @TechHighest, on X, shared a text post that claims, “I firmly believe based on what I saw that the S Pen will not be compatible with the multifold.”
The statements suggest that the upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold will not be compatible with the S Pen; however, there’s no official word regarding this prediction yet. It remains to be seen whether the report will come true.
Samsung has been in controversy for its S Pen stylus for a long time now, as earlier this year it offered the built-in S Pen stylus to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but without Bluetooth support. Later than it was highly anticipated that the company may drop the S Pen from future Galaxy devices, but against expectations, it has offered a newly designed S Pen with the latest Galaxy Tab S11 series.
It will be interesting to see whether the upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold will support the S Pen. The device is reported to be unveiled sometime in October and will be available globally next year.
