Google’s best driving companion, Android Auto continues to offer the most incredible yet convenient user experience. Since the company released Android Auto 15.0 in the beta channel a few days ago, the version is already widely rolling out.
While the Android Auto 15.1 beta version has already been released, Google has started expanding the Android Auto 15.0 Stable build for all the users worldwide. However, the newest 15.0 version doesn’t bring any major or significant features and changes.
Even though Google has a bunch of interesting features that are yet to be released, the latest Android Auto 15.0 stable version looks very lightweight when it comes to the addition of new features.
The update simply comprises certain underwhelming changes that have been addressed in the earlier version, and of course, as usual, the latest version doesn’t carry a dedicated changelog. Also, despite being spotted in the beta channel, Google has removed the Theme settings section in the stable version. (via 9To5Google)
At the same time, it’s even reported that Google is planning to drop its iconic bold coloring scheme in order to adopt very simple and subtle wallpaper-based accents.
Well, despite being leveraged with more useful yet interesting features and more already in the pipeline, it’s unfortunate that Android Auto has been among the targets of bug attacks and various other inconsistencies. Other than that, people are still waiting to see several key Android Auto features to be rolled out quickly, including the light theme and Gemini AI integration, and Google has even teased that Gemini is right around the corner.
