Since Samsung has integrated its most essential feature, Now Brief, with the One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S24 series, the newest beta version doesn’t bring Now Brief to the Galaxy S23 series, which perhaps suggests that Samsung might not consider providing the AI feature to more older-generation models, other than the Galaxy S24 series.

Meanwhile, according to the post shared by the tipster, Tarun Vats, via X, it appears like Samsung is perhaps planning to release a second One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S23 series, as an all-new version number, ZYI5, has just been spotted on Samsung’s internal test servers. This eventually suggests that One UI 8 Beta 2 could be just around the corner for the 2023 flagships.
At the same time, indeed, Samsung’s next-generation OS, One UI 8, is not as massive as One UI 7, but it’s considered the most significant upgrade over the previous version, as it brought some key features that One UI 7 lacked.
Nevertheless, the stable rollout is already set to be released this month; however, Samsung has just released One UI 8 Beta 7 for the Galaxy S25 family, which certainly suggests that the latest Android 16-based version has yet to attain maturity, and there are a few optimizations left. Hopefully, the company ensures to solve every issue and release the One UI 8 stable version shortly, starting with the S25 lineup.
