Samsung initiates Pilot Program for Family Hub refrigerators in the US

Samsung stands at the top when it comes to advanced innovations and enhancements for its products, be they smartphones or its exceptional smart home appliances. Since updates slice up the working a little more, the company has started rolling out a new update for its refrigerators, but perhaps the entire audience might not like it anyway!
Basically, Samsung is rolling out a new software update for Family Hub refrigerators in the US as a part of a pilot program, confirming ads are coming to its refrigerators as well. (via Android Authority).
The Pilot program is only for certain Samsung Family Hub refrigerator models that are sold in the US, while a new software update apparently brings ads to them.
Due to which these refrigerators will display promotions and curated advertisements on certain cover screens when the Family Hub screen (or the door display) is idle.
Moreover, according to the changelog, the ads displayed on the cover screen comprise weather, daily board themes, and color.
Well, Samsung says that these ads can be easily skipped or dismissed, while also noting that the dismissed ads will not be reverted back. At the same time, the design format of ads will automatically change depending upon the cover screen’s personalization options. Also, users will not see when the cover screen is displaying pictures or artwork.
