One UI 8 Stable Update Expands to US Galaxy S25 Users

Samsung has finally started the stable Android 16-based One UI 8 update rollout for the Galaxy S25 family in the US, while until now, the update was limited to South Korea, Germany, India, and the UK.

The stable One UI 8 version has been released for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in the US and has been identified with the version numbers for carrier locked S93*USQU5BYI3, and S93*U1UEU5BYI3 for unlocked.

The update appears to be available for all the users, be they beta participants or the normal audience, in particular. Since the rollout process is gradual, you must get the update in the course of time.

However, the changelog doesn’t mention any major features or changes, but the latest One UI 8 version is topped up with Android 16 that apparently enhances the overall AI experience with the integration of smarter tools for communication, creativity, and personalization.

At the same time, the update further brings more advanced AI features such as call captions, improved portrait generation, a more enhanced Now Brief, and much more. Also, the update packs the September 2025 security patch that aims to focus on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality in order to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.

Well, Samsung is already preparing the One UI 8.5 version, which is going to be the OS, and at the same time, the Galaxy S25 series has already been spotted running on this newest version that is supposed to be powered by Android 16 on board.
