Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra makes flash appearance at Snapdragon Summit 2025

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was in the limelight at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit 2025 event, as it was being used to capture the livestream.
Qualcomm has introduced its latest high-end chipset, called Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, at the Snapdragon Summit 2025 event. On the other hand, Samsung is highly anticipated to use this new chipset in its next-generation Galaxy S26 series; however, it neither confirmed nor denied that the Galaxy S26 would use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Apart from the newly unveiled Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the Galaxy S25 Ultra was also in the limelight at the event, as a few parts (mostly including moving shots) of the event were streamed live using it.
CNET reporter David Lumb, who was present at the event, revealed that the livestream was being captured by the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The reporter managed to capture a shot of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which appears to be mounted on the DJI Ronin 2 gimbal.
However, it isn’t new, as in the past, Apple and Samsung have livestreamed several events with their respective flagship smartphones to flex their camera capabilities and performance. Noticeably, Qualcomm is choosing the Galaxy S25 Ultra powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is something special, as it isn’t the only smartphone with a Snapdragon chipset.
Qualcomm’s chips are already used by almost all Android smartphone brands, but it chose the Galaxy S25 Ultra over others. One of the reasons behind this could be the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s supreme camera quality and reliability.
