Samsung Rolls Out Stable One UI 8.0 for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 owners participated in the One UI 8 beta program, and now, the folding phones are officially getting the stable version.

The Android 16-based stable One UI 8.0 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, which have the version numbers F946NKSU5FYI8 and F731NKSU5FYI8, respectively, is now available for the beta participants, which is currently limited to South Korea and is expected to reach all the users in other eligible countries in the future.

While the previous One UI 7 stable rollout was frustratingly delayed, it appears like Samsung has adopted a totally different approach for the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 version.

However, the latest update may not look as massive as the previous one, but it significantly adds various new features and upgrades over One UI 7. Nevertheless, with the release of the stable update, Samsung is ending the beta phase for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 owners, and with One UI 8, the company brought about several new and exciting features while also improving some for a better user experience.

Well, the latest update significantly brings upgrades for security & privacy, productivity, and accessibility, while also integrating the September 2025 security patch that eventually focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality in order to offer a more secure user experience and further protect the device against potential threats.
