Samsung Launches Galaxy M07 Without Much Hype

Samsung has expanded its affordable smartphone family by silently launching the Galaxy M07 with six years of long software support in the Indian market

The Korean tech giant is expected to launch several flagship-level devices this month, including the Galaxy Tri-FoldGalaxy XR, and more. Meanwhile, it opened the month with the launch of a budget-friendly Galaxy M07 smartphone. However, the company hasn’t released any notice or timeline of the launch; it just silently unveiled the device.

The newly launched Galaxy M07 measures 164.4 x 77.4 x 7.6 mm and weighs 184 g, which makes it slimmer and lighter compared to its predecessor with an 8 mm measurement and 191 g weight.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an HD+ 720 x 1600 pixel resolution. To protect the device from dust and water, Samsung offers it an IP54 rating, which is an upgrade over its predecessor. The camera setup includes a 50MP (f/1.8) main and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. It has a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

Samsung powers the device with MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset, integrated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and will receive 6 years of Android OS updates and security patches.

Noticeably, all of these specifications appear similar to the Galaxy A07’s, which means that the Galaxy M07 is a rebranded variant.
