Google mistakenly shared a series of Galaxy XR’s apps & games on the Play Store

Samsung is this close to launching its first XR Headset next week on a virtual launch event. Ahead of the launch, Google accidentally revealed the first series of applications and games exclusively for this device on the Play Store.

​Recently, Samsung released the official trailer for its upcoming Galaxy XR headset based on Google’s Android XR operating system, which revealed that the device will be launched on October 21.

​Meanwhile, a post shared by @WorkholicDavid is seeking attention on X, revealing that a series of XR-optimized applications and games have appeared on the Play Store, showing that the content ecosystem for the Galaxy XR is gradually taking shape.

​The post also includes a few screenshots, showing various interactive games and apps from many different developers, from entertainment, creativity to virtual space simulation. The page appearing in the screenshot discusses about four such experiences, including Asteroid, Naver CHZZK XR, NFL Pro Era, and Vacation Simulator.  

​The Asteroid is a riveting puzzle game, Naver CHZZ XR is a VR video streaming service, NFL Pro Era is a game that allows you to play American football from the point of view of the players themselves, and Vacation Simulator is a relaxation game.

​Recently, Samsung also shared the Galaxy XR Headset’s safety & usage guidelines for a better experience, according to which it has set the minimum age for using its XR headset at 13, citing eye protection and physical suitability.
