Samsung expands the October 2025 Security Update for the Galaxy S25 Series to Europe

Samsung initiated the October 2025 security update with the Galaxy S25 series, which are the first models among all to receive the update. Now, it looks like Samsung is looking towards expanding the update for the flagships in even more countries, other than its home country.

Basically, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra owners have already received the October 2025 security update; however, it was only limited to South Korea.

But now, the company is looking towards extending the update to other major regions, and currently, the update is available in Europe, while more countries are expected to follow in the coming weeks.

More specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra has been identified with the S931BXXS6BYIF, S936BXXS6BYIF, and S938BXXS6BYIF version numbers, respectively.

Well, the new update is, however, just a minor security patch that doesn’t bring any major features or changes, but it significantly improves the device’s overall security, functionality, and performance to provide a more secure user experience and even protects the device against potential threats.

At the same time, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior and brings performance optimizations for providing a smoother and stable experience to the users. Nevertheless, Samsung is already rolling out the update for the S series’ flagships in Europe, and users need to wait until the update reaches more countries.
