One UI 8 update is now available for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024)

Samsung is rolling out the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 update for its Galaxy devices; meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has also joined the list, as the company begins delivering software for the tablet.

More specifically, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is getting a new software update that significantly integrates the One UI 8 update that has been identified with the P625XXU6CYJ5 version number, and noticeably, it is currently available in Thailand.

It is expected that the company will expand the update to more countries over the coming weeks. But for now, users can download the latest version through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.

At the same time, Samsung’s One UI 8 update is topped up with Android 16, which brings a fluid and intuitive design with vibrant colors, refined widgets, and optimized layouts that apparently take the entire user experience to the next level.

Also, the update allows users to discover new ways to connect, create, and protect their information by adding upgrades to productivity, multitasking, security & and privacy, which in turn provides a smoother and more personalized experience. Other than that, the update focuses on improving the device’s overall security, functionality, and performance by integrating the September 2025 security patch for an efficient and secure user experience.

Well, Samsung’s One UI 8 rollout is currently facing certain unknown issues or problems, and as a result, the company is pulling off the update for a few Galaxy devices. Hopefully, the proper rollout could resume as soon as possible.
