Samsung expands Galaxy S24 Series’ October 2025 Security Update for the European market

Samsung’s One UI 8 update rollout was surrounded by a sudden issue, due to which the company needs to pull the update for certain flagships, including the Galaxy S24 series, while the company has already resumed the update. Now, the S24 family is receiving a new software update.

​Basically, the One UI 8 rollout has already resumed, and now, the Galaxy S24 family is starting to receive a new software update that significantly integrates the October 2025 security update and is currently available in Europe as well, following South Korea.

​Meanwhile, the latest firmware for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra is identified with the S921BXXSACYJ7, S926BXXSACYJ7, and S928BXXSACYJ7 version numbers, respectively.

​Therefore, users can now download the latest version on their devices through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.

​At the same time, the update, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes; instead, it significantly brings improvements to the device’s overall security, core functionality, and performance, which eventually provides a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats or attacks.

​Other than that, the update further brings certain performance optimizations and adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior, which provides a smoother, stable, and optimized experience for the users.

​Well, Samsung has already resumed the One UI 8 rollout, and at the same time, it’s looking towards expanding the October patch. Also, the security patch is expected to reach even more countries in the coming weeks.
