One UI 8 Watch Beta 4 is now available for the Galaxy Watch 6 Series

Samsung initiated the latest Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch Beta Program with the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models, while both watches have already been enjoying the stable version. Since Watch 6 also joined the beta program, the wearables have started receiving a fourth build.
It’s interesting! A couple of days ago, Samsung began the One UI 8 Watch beta 3 distribution for the Galaxy Watch 6 series; meanwhile, a user shared a post on the official community page, which suggests that the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic have started getting the One UI 8 Watch beta 4 in South Korea.
Specifically, the latest watch beta firmware for the Galaxy Watch 6 series has been identified with the ZYJ6 version number.
Therefore, Watch 6 owners can check out the latest update, or it will automatically be available on the device if the user has participated in the beta program previously. Also, wider availability is expected over the coming weeks.

However, according to the changelog, the beta update doesn’t really bring any major changes or features else it adds a few key fixes for certain problems, while the latest version brings various improvements for the performance-related issues, while also improving interoperability of the Watch’s GPS in order to provide a smoother, stable, and efficient performance and functionality.
Other than that, the update further integrates the October 2025 security patch for focusing on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality to offer a secure user experience.
Well, it is still unknown whether at which time Samsung will release the stable One UI 8 Watch version for the Galaxy Watch 6 series owners, but till then, users need to sit and wait.
