Samsung may be considering a major expansion of Samsung Pass for storing personal info

Despite being considered to be fully dissolved into Samsung Wallet, Samsung Pass is still a dedicated platform that secures passwords and other personal data effectively. Meanwhile, a new report claims that it appears Samsung is planning a major expansion within the service.
Well, according to a fresh report from Galaxy Techie on X (via Android Authority), with the courtesy of a leaked build of Samsung Pass, Samsung seems to be perhaps working on allowing users to store even a wider variety of a piece of sensitive information.
Basically, the user detailed the leaked APK version of Samsung Pass with build number v15.3.01.6; however, this remains certainly wrong, as the current latest version of the service is v5.2.06.1 and more likely v5.3.01.6. Whereas “15” in the version number seems to be a numerical typing error.
At the same time, the screenshots depict that Samsung is possibly planning for a major expansion of Samsung Pass, where it could now perhaps hold user’s passports, national ID cards, tax-based information, driving license, personal addresses and more, while also putting several documents under different categories, like Private info with DOB, gender, expiration, and both faces of ID cards.

However, another report claims that Samsung Cloud is not syncing, saved passwords are disappearing, and even the essential features are missing.
Well, it’s yet to be confirmed whether Samsung is going to tie up the service into a digital verification structure, but it also suggests that the company is working on bringing more improvements behind closed doors. Nevertheless, this remains to be seen, though.
