Android Auto owners seem to have connectivity issues after updating to Android 16

Even though Android Auto is among the best services of Google, it’s more or less prone to various bugs and other issues. Meanwhile, several users have reported that they have found a handful of difficulties and problems in their car’s infotainment system with Android 16, in particular.

Well, Android Auto seems to be behaving unusually, and this case arrived just after bugs were found in the recent past. Specifically, users took it to Google’s official support page (via) to report their complaint, as they are finding it difficult to connect their mobile phones to Android Auto with Android 16 software.

The Galaxy phone and Pixel owners, in particular, have reported that they are having connection issues with their car’s infotainment system, where some stated that the connection does not work at all, while for some, smartphones disconnect automatically after a few minutes, prompting users for a fresh start, right after updating their devices to the latest Android 16 version.

However, Android Auto’s connectivity issue doesn’t seem to be widespread, but at the same time, Google has yet to acknowledge the problem, and hopefully, it could provide some useful solution for this annoying bug soon.

Well, Samsung Galaxy phones are already in the process of getting the latest Android 16 update, while the company is slowly getting close to completion.

Other than that, Google is currently working on Google Maps’ redesign on the Android Auto platform, while also preparing for home screen widgets. It’s expected that the problem will perhaps be resolved with the upcoming updates.
