Samsung rolls out One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 for the Galaxy Watch 5 Series

Samsung has just started to release yet another beta version of the One UI 8 Watch for its older generation Galaxy Watch 5 series.

Basically, the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro models have already received beta 1 a while ago; meanwhile, Samsung has begun the One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 distribution for the Galaxy Watch 5 owners, beginning from South Korea, and it will reach even more users over the coming weeks.

Essentially, the new Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 for the Galaxy Watch 5 series has been identified with the ZYK4 version number. At the same time, the update brings some major changes and improvements to the device’s overall functionality. It improves various performance issues, which in turn provides an enhanced performance experience for the users.

Alongside, the update also improves the incorrect display of time when setting DST on the device. This eventually helps users to have a more improved user experience.

Other than that, the latest One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 update further integrates the October 2025 security patch that apparently focuses on improving the device’s overall security, core functionality, and performance to offer a secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats that lead to a smoother, stable, and efficient experience for the users.

Well, this new update is just a beta phase of the One UI 8 Watch version, and with that said, the latest version will eventually bring several interesting features and changes, once it attains stability in the near future.
