Perplexity’s new AI browser Comet is now available on Galaxy devices

Samsung Galaxy smartphone users, get ready to experience a new AI browser, as Perplexity has launched its AI browser called Comet for all Android devices.
In case you missed it, Perplexity distributed this AI browser, Comet, initially on Android devices via the “Early Access” program. Later, then, the company officially launched the app on desktop this year in July.
Now, it is making the browser available for all Android devices. From November 21, it will be available for all. Perplexity’s Comet is an AI browser that acts as a personal assistant and performs various tasks, such as automating tasks, researching the web, organizing your email, and more.
Comet generally acts as a copilot to help you do things on the web, not just look at links. It has all the capabilities to challenge Google. Perplexity has made the Comet available for all Android devices; however, the browser’s promo features Galaxy smartphones.
Galaxy users can easily set Perplexity as their phone’s default search engine through Comet. This new AI browser offers multiple convenient facilities; for instance, it permits users to mention tabs to ask a question to the assistant.
Apart from this, in the near future, Perplexity’s Comet AI browser is also considering adding its own built-in password manager to enhance security and convenience. It’s also expected that Samsung and Perplexity could announce their partnership at the Galaxy Unpacked event in 2026; however, it’s not officially confirmed yet.
