One UI 8 update is rolling out for Galaxy A series’ 4G variants of the A17, A16, and A15
Samsung is still continuing with the One UI 8 update rollout, as some Galaxy devices’ 4G counterparts are still left to receive the latest Android 16-based software. With that said, the Galaxy A17, A16, and A15 have started getting the update, but this time, their 4G versions.
Well, the Korean company has already delivered the latest software for the Galaxy A17, A16, and A15 devices, and now, their 4G counterparts have begun receiving Android 16-based One UI 8 update, which is spotted in South Korea, at least for now, and is expected to expand to even more countries over the coming weeks.
Specifically, the latest update for the Galaxy A17, Galaxy A16, and Galaxy A15 has been identified with their A175NKSU1BYK2, A165NKSU3CYK1, and A155NKSU6CYK1 version numbers, respectively.
At the same time, Samsung’s One UI 8 update is powered by Android 16 and therefore brought about various new UI elements with more vibrant colors, improved widgets, and optimized layouts that eventually take the user experience to the next level.
Also, the update is meant to build a smoother experience. Other than that, the update further integrates the October 2025 security patch that apparently focuses on improving the device’s overall security, core functionality and performance to provide a more secure and stable user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats.
Samsung is already delivering the One UI 8 update for the 4G versions of the Galaxy A17, Galaxy A16, and Galaxy A15 models. Users can check for and download the latest software on their devices when available.
