One UI 8.5 to offer a fresh look to the Samsung Calculator app

One UI 8.5, which is expected to be Samsung’s next biggest upgrade ever, has already started appearing on the Galaxy phones, with the recent one being the Galaxy S24 Ultra; meanwhile, previous leaks have showcased how the company is preparing its apps to get dissolved into One UI 8.5 aesthetics. A latest report offers a glimpse of the Calculator app.
It looks like Samsung is apparently triggering its One UI to introduce a more improved yet modern UI redesign ever with smarter tools and greater visuals.
At the same time, the company is certainly making its upcoming major software, One UI 8.5, its advanced upgrade over the One UI 7 or One UI 8.0 versions.
Meanwhile, it was already reported that the One UI 8.5 software is significantly going to offer a legit modern UI redesign with minimalistic aesthetics to the Galaxy apps, such as the Clock, Samsung Internet, Reminder and Calendar; the latest One UI 8.5 leak showcases that the Samsung Calculator app is also going to be dissolved into the modular revamp of the One UI 8.5 build.
According to the report from SamMobile, diving deep into the latest internal One UI 8.5 beta, it was revealed that Samsung is looking towards improving its Calculator app, providing a nice drop shadow effect for all the number and operator buttons.

In simple words, when a button is tapped, it apparently reflects a beautiful, glowing effect that results in creating a circular-shaped, subtle glow around the button.

However, this might change as well, whether the phone is operating in dark mode or light mode. Additionally, the leaked One UI 8.5 changelog hides an interesting factor about the Calculator app, where users can save time as the numbers and formulas will be copied to the phone’s clipboard and will be suggested when opening the app, such that it will be easier to enter them with a quick tap.
