Samsung Wallet gets Porsche Digital Key integration for easy car access

Samsung has now expanded the capabilities of its digital payment service, the Samsung Wallet, as it can now make it easy for you to use your Galaxy smartphone as a digital key for eligible Porsche vehicles.

The Korean tech giant has introduced its official Samsung Wallet app as a secure, all-in-one digital platform for Galaxy users that combines features from Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass to manage payments, IDs, Key, and other essentials. Over time, the company has made the app more convenient by adding new capabilities and features.

Now, it has announced that the Samsung Wallet app is getting a new capability as it now allows you to store everything in one place, including car keys, payment cards, and IDs, and just by a single swipe-up gesture, you can access all your essentials, like car keys.

This will be efficient for you to manage your car and other items instantly and save your time. Currently, this feature is available for the new Porsche Macan (My260) in Europe and is expected to be extended to the Porsche Cayenne Electric next year.
