Samsung officially launched the in-house 2nm-based Exynos 2600

Samsung launched its latest in-house Exynos 2600 chipset, which is the world’s first 2nm smartphone chip. Here’s the key specifications.

The newly launched Exynos 2600 is equipped with a 10-core CPU based on the Arm v9.3 architecture, and the configuration is mentioned below –

  • One C1 Ultra core clocked at 3.8 GHz
  • Three C1 Pro cores at 3.25 GHz
  • Six C1 Pro cores at 2.75 GHz

The Korean tech giant has completely removed power-saving cores and also claimed that the CPU performance is 39% higher than that of the Exynos 2500.

The Exynos 2600 features a premium NPU with 113% higher performance, supporting hardware-based virtualization and hybrid post-quantum encryption (PQC). The chipset has an Xclipse 960 GPU and Exynos Neural Super Sampling technology.

The company claimed that graphics processing performance had doubled compared to its predecessor model, and ray tracing had improved by 50%. The Exynos 2600’s ISP boasts several notable capabilities to enhance the capturing experience, including the ability to support sensors up to 320 MP, capture 108 MP images with zero shutter lag, record 8K at 30 fps or 4K at 120 fps with HDR, and support the APV codec.

Samsung has integrated a chip with LPDDR5X, UFS 4.1, 4K 120Hz video output, HDR10+, and HDR gaming support. It has already begun mass production of this chipset and is highly anticipated to power the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, which are expected to launch in early 2026.
