on

Last year, Samsung introduced the RegiStar module for Good Lock, a set of powerful customization tools that give users greater control over their Galaxy devices. RegiStar includes a range of useful features, such as the ability to customize the phone’s settings and more.

One of the biggest new features added to RegiStar is the tap gesture on the back of the device. This gesture was first available on the Galaxy S and Flip lineups, allowing users to double and triple-tap to launch apps or execute actions. For the Fold4, there is a new firm press-and-hold gesture available on the outer display. These new gestures make it even easier to interact with your device and quickly access the features and apps you need.

Generally, when a company doesn’t publish a new changelog for the application, it indicates that the update may not bring any significant changes for the application. Therefore,  the latest update for Samsung Enhance X is expected to receive some internal changes that could enhance the overall stability of the application.

If you are having any issues while using any feature of the application, then it is recommended that you keep the application up-to-date. To take advantage of the new update, you can check for it via the Galaxy Store. To go directly to the page, click here. However, if there is no update available on your device, you can also sideload the latest version of the application from external sources.

For starters, the Enhance X app is a one-stop AI solution that allows you to do easy edits that enhance the media with a single tap. For instance, you can remove unwanted blur reflections and, at the same time, use features to sharpen, improve the dynamic range, and brighten photos captured in low lighting conditions. Meanwhile, for the video content, it allows the use of single-take, long exposures.

YouTube is rolling out a new jump-ahead AI-powered feature for its users. Under this functionality, users will be able to skip the video by double-tapping to the most-viewed part of the video.

Previously, when you double-tapped on the video in the right half of the screen, it forwarded the video to 10 seconds. Now,  to make this function more useful, YouTube has used AI, which is able to analyze the most-viewed part of the video and redirect users directly.

According to the information, the new facility will be limitedly available to users who have joined the premium memberships. It is worth noticing that YouTube has had this functionality for a long time. A few days ago, when the company had previewed this capability, it suggested a small experiment.

As this is currently in the initial stage, the functionality is only available for US users and those working on the English videos. According to the information, the jump-ahead feature is available for users who join the premium membership before June 1. However, after passing the experiment phase, it may be available for every user.

A couple of months ago, YouTube brought the Picture in Picture (PiP) feature for free to users. Initially, it was limited to US users, but it is expected to be available to other countries’ users. To get the latest functionality, users should always keep the YouTube update.
