The Samsung Music App is getting a new update that permits quick launch with the Galaxy Buds tap-and-hold gesture smoothly.

A plethora of wireless wearable earbuds are available, but somehow Samsung’s Galaxy Buds are leading the market with their high-end features and functionalities without any limitations. To enhance the users’ audio experience, the giant rolled out a new update for the Samsung Music app, but this update is hinting at what’s been missing.

Samsung Galaxy Buds allow users to control music playback with taps, which they can then customize in the Samsung Music application, which is available on both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store. The giant has designed the Galaxy Buds with the support of tap-and-hold gestures for less frequent actions such as launching applications or activating voice assistants similar to Bixby or Google Assistant.

The reports say that this update permits you to quickly launch the application using the tap-and-hold gesture on Galaxy Series earbuds. However, the updated Samsung Music application does not have its own streaming service, but interested parties can link their Spotify accounts to it. To quickly launch the Music application, this asks you to open the Galaxy Wearable app on the device your earbuds are paired to.

Then, authorize touch controls, touch and hold, and assign either earbud to launch Samsung Music when the gesture is detected. Integration between the Samsung Music app and the company’s connected earbuds should have been the default behavior from the factory.

Samsung recently delivered a major software update to Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Unfortunately, the upgrade turned into a tragedy, as owners of Buds 2 Pro are facing regular connectivity issues after upgrading.

Samsung has rolled out the update, which arrived with an identification firmware R510XXU0AXB4.” Now, after installing the new update, users are facing trouble connecting their Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, due to which their earbuds automatically disconnect after 15-20 minutes of use.

This is being speculated by the reports of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro owner, who claimed about this issue on Reddit. Although the one who reported is not the only one going through this issue, multiple Galaxy Buds 2 Pro users are also facing this issue.

After installing the update to Galaxy Earbuds 2 Pro with the mentioned version number, the owners of the buds experienced a kind of inconvenience—they are facing a connectivity issue. Their earbuds automatically disconnect unexpectedly after 15-20 minutes, and they do not even reconnect unless connected manually.

The users have noticed that this issue occurs only when the earbuds and the charging case have sufficient battery breathing. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro users upgraded their Buds with the latest update, which brings the awaited features, one of which is Auto Switch to move between devices smoothly, as well as features like Auracast capabilities.

As of last month’s announcement, the new update is said to bring a few features, such as Live Translations features, Auto Switch capabilities, and expanded Auracast functionality.

This new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro update is somewhere pointing out that the AI upgrade is close to reach. As per the changelog, the Auto Switch is the first feature to hit the market. It particularly notes the feature that the Korean giants mentioned in their update announcement and states that “operations for connectivity with PCs and usability have been improved.”

Earlier today, Samsung put out a new software update for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in Europe and India. The firmware version is labeled as R510XXUOAXB4 and is about 6.01 megabytes to download. This update brings in the Buds Auto Switch feature, which lets the earbuds connect automatically to Galaxy laptops and PCs. The update is designed to operate seamlessly with the Galaxy Book 3 and Galaxy Book 4 series laptops.

Basically, Auto Switch is an Android tool that is only available for the Pixel Buds yet. It just permits the users to connect to the device so that it smoothly switches the connectivity based on whichever device is receiving a call. Beyond the question, it is an excellent feature that works automatically.

The update mentioned Auracast, though it’s unclear whether the brand will offer the TV functionality mentioned or if it just improves stability. Although the update does not mention Samsung’s interpreter tool in any way, which points to Samsung, It is appealing that Samsung will expand the entirety of what it promised, even including the interpreter mode and Auracast with TVs.
