One UI 6.0

Samsung One UI 6.0 refreshed the photo editing features

Samsung One UI 6 is the latest skin for the Galaxy devices. The company is serving beta versions for the Galaxy S23 devices; however, with the first beta, the Korean giant has unveiled several features for the device. The update is full of improvements in the UI as well, which brings refreshment to the existing functions. Here we will explore the photo editor.

Samsung brings improvements to features for editing photos

With the One UI 6 beta updates, Samsung has refreshed and added some useful new features to the stock photo editor. Let’s explore them all:

Quick edit: While viewing a picture or video, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to go to detail view. This screen now provides quick access to effects and editing features you can immediately apply.

Copy and paste edit: Sometimes you have to edit photos of similar backgrounds, and then you usually do the same edits, so to make it easy, Samsung has brought a copy-paste feature. Now you can copy the editor from any photo and then paste it into multiple photos. It is worth noticing that you can only copy-edit photos that were created on your device.

Tools are well organized: Samsung has now rearranged the edition tools, and now they are no longer hidden under the extra menu. For instance, tools like the object eraser, spot color, and style are hidden in the three-dot menu. But with One UI 6, they are now available in the strip menu.

Undo and redo: Don’t worry about making mistakes. You can now easily undo or redo transformations, filters, and tones. This will give you more convenience while editing the photos.
