Carrier-Locked Galaxy S21 gets the October 2023 update in the US

This time, the Galaxy devices that belong to the US market are initially getting the October 2023 update, and now continuing on the same path, the company has rolled out the update to one more Galaxy S series device, the Galaxy S21, which is also getting it. Currently, the locked variants of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are receiving new updates with firmware version numbers G991USQS9EWI2, G996USQS9EWI2, and G998USQS9EWI2, respectively. It is currently limited to Sprint networks, and it is expected to be available on more carriers in the next few days.

The October 2023 update doesn’t bring any new features or innovations for the Galaxy devices, but as it is one of the security improvement updates, it has brought several new fixes that enhance the security mechanisms of the devices.
