Samsung Could Powered Galaxy Watch 7 Variant with More Efficient Chipset

Samsung is now actively gearing up to expand the Galaxy smartwatch family by adding a new member named the Galaxy Watch 7 powered by an ungraded chipset, the Exynos W940.

Apart from smartphones, the Korean giants are also busy with the next-generation smartwatch, which is the Galaxy Watch 7. The reports indicate that the forthcoming Galaxy Watch 7 will be more powerful and faster as compared to its predecessors.

A post on shared by a well-known tipster suggests that Samsung will power its upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 with the Exynos W940 SoC, which will result in 50% more efficient and 30% faster performance than its predecessor generation.

If this report comes true, then the Galaxy Watch 7 will deliver seamless, flawless, as well as more optimized functionality and performance for enhancing the user experience at their convenience. It is expected that the giants will unveil the latest smart wearable watch just ahead of the debut of the next wearable series.

It is expected that the brand will introduce the Galaxy Watch 7 powered by Exynos W920 at a Galaxy Unpacked event, along with the next-generation foldable Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, and maybe a fan edition, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE, in July 2024.

An Exynos W920 chipset powers the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series. Whereas the current Galaxy Watch 6 uses the Exynos W930 chip. Now, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Classic will bring a new iteration of the Exynos processor.
