Carrier locked Galaxy S23 started getting July 2024 update

After introducing the July 2024 update to the Galaxy S24 devices in the US, the company has made the update available to the locked units of the Galaxy S23 devices. However, currently, the update is limitedly spotted for the USCellular-bound devices.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra’s locked units have started getting updates on the US Cellular network with firmware version numbers S911USQS4CXE9, S916USQS4CXE9, and S918USQS4CXE9, respectively. The update may soon be available on more carriers.

The July 2024 update has yet to bring any surprises for your devices, and the company has only included some security-related enhancements under the system’s several features.

According to the official documentation, the July 2024 update has more than 60 fixes, and both Google and Samsung have rolled out several patches for the devices. Apart from the security-related improvement, the update may also provide more changes that enhance the overall performance and stability of the devices.
