Samsung expands Live translate feature for third-party applications exclusively in its Galaxy devices

Samsung introduced many Galaxy AI features for its smartphones with One UI 6.1. Live Translate is one of Samsung’s most appreciated features, allowing users to communicate with each other without the language barrier.

Initially, the Korean giant introduced the live translation feature exclusively for the main calling function. Still, the company has promised to make live translation accessible for third-party applications.

Now, keeping its promise, Samsung started supporting functionality for third-party applications, including Facebook Messenger, Google Meet, Instagram, Kakao Talk, LINE, Signal, Telegram, WeChat, and WhatsApp.

It means Galaxy users can take advantage of the live call translation with the dedicated voice calling functions within the application.

This feature is now active with the One UI 6.1.1 spotted on Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones and is expected to be available to more Galaxy devices that support the Live translate feature.
