Samsung has aggressively introduced the July 2024 security patch to several Galaxy devices; now, the company has focused on tablets and started rolling out the update to the Galaxy Tab A9.

Samsung has started rolling out the July 2024 update to the Galaxy Tab A9 devices; currently, the update has only arrived in South Korea.

More specifically, the update is spotted on the LTE and Wi-Fi variants of the Galaxy Tab A9 with firmware version numbers X115NKOS3BXG1 and X110XXS3BXG1, respectively. The company is expected to expand the update to more countries soon.

According to the changelog, the latest update doesn’t bring any new features or changes for the devices; it only applies a new security patch to your smartphone, which will enhance the overall protection of your device.

As per the official documentation, the July 2024 update brought more than 60 patches. Google applied patches to enhance the device’s workings, and Samsung added some exclusive patches to the Galaxy devices to make them more secure.

Users who own the Galaxy Tab A9 base variant can now install the latest update by simply going to the software update menu from the system settings. Meanwhile, the Plus variant owners have to wait some more time.
