Samsung Galaxy M55s gets treated with January 2025 Security Update

Samsung began the January 2025 security update rollout with the Galaxy S24 series, which is then followed for even more devices, including foldables and other mid-tier models. Now, the company is pushing the patch to the Galaxy M55s units, while it’s just spotted in India.

Although the rollout is gradual and may vary in different parts of the world, the January 2025 security patch for the M55s owners is expected to reach more eligible regions shortly. The update can be recognized with the M558BXXS2AXL1 version number.

Meanwhile, the January 2025 Android security patch, however, doesn’t mention any major features or changes; it primarily focuses on adding an extra layer of security by integrating patches from both Google and Samsung collectively. It eventually addresses all the security vulnerabilities that range from critical to high-level threats in order to offer a more safe and secure user experience while also keeping their device protected against potential threats.

Alternatively, the update further adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, brings performance optimizations, applies the latest security patches, and offers more improved features that will significantly lead to a smoother, more stable, and more optimized experience for the users.

Well, the January patch for the Galaxy M55s has already started rolling out; owners can download the update once it’s available for their devices.
