Samsung is constantly working hard to make its semiconductor chips efficient so it can take the market share back from other competitors, recently it is reported that the company has organized the internal foundry diagnosis to find the problems which aim to make it efficient
At the same time, the company is also working on its own SoC Exynos 2600. According to the earlier reports the company has also found success in maximizing the yield rate on proceeding with the 2nm fabrication.
Earlier, With the improved yield rate it was expected to be available with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 but later it wasn’t confirmed due to the delay in the production. However, now a new report says the Korean giant could bring the Exynos 2600 with the Galaxy S26 series after breaking the long partnership with Qualcomm.
It is worth noticing back in 2022, Qualcomm has announced that it would be a top partner for Samsung for supplies of equipment including Chipsers and networking equipment till 2030, it indicates that Samsung devices will at least for the flagship will be dependent on the Qualcomm for next five more years.
However, with the improved yield, Samsung will try to apply the same strategy to back some of the Galaxy S series flagship devices with Exynos chipsets to some countries while other will be equipped with the snapdragon chipsets which is similar to the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 series devices. While equipping the device with its own chipset the Korean giant will get a significant advantage in handling the cost.
