Basically, the reason behind the battery icon not displaying on the status bar after installing the One UI 7 update is due to the Good Lock’s QuickStar module.
At the same time, the QuickStar development team has already acknowledged the issue, stating that this bug is only affecting those models who have turned off the battery icon within the QuickStar app before upgrading their phones to the latest version.
Meanwhile, the team has also offered a quick fix for the battery icon issue, where users need to enter into the Good Lock’s QuickStar app, look for the Visibility of indicator menu, and finally, enable the Battery icon option. This will certainly fix the battery icon not displaying on the status bar issue.
