Galaxy Tablets to get a more user-friendly Gemini app soon

Samsung Galaxy tablet users, get ready to experience a user-friendly Gemini on your Galaxy Tabs, as Google is working on a new UI that enhances Gemini’s functionality on bigger screens.

Google has already replaced its older Google Assistant with Gemini on most of its devices, including tablets. Now it is looking forward to introducing a new UI that takes better advantage of bigger screens.

Recently, Google has successfully held its I/O 2025 event, at which it has showcased its AI efforts front and center in everything from the new Flow moviemaking app to Search’s new Try It On Tool for offering fits.

Now it is working on how to use Gemini AI could be easier for users on larger screen devices, such as Tablets. Currently, Gemini on tablets and foldables uses the same interface as smartphones, but soon Google will add a side menu to enhance the user experience.

According to a report from Android Authority, the Google app is running the beta version 16.20.48.sa.arm64 that includes a new interface of Gemini that now feels much more at home on bigger screens. You can now access the side menu through that hamburger button feels similar to Gemini on the web, and this showcases that probably be all we need for the AI bot to fit in on a tablet-sized display.

However, the new interface is not yet publicly available, but it’s expected that it will introduce this change widely.
