Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra owners receiving a new update in the US

Samsung always amazes its Galaxy audience when it comes to deliver useful updates to smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets. Meanwhile, the company released Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models last year, and indeed the wearables were loaded with several features, now, they are getting a new software update for smooth performance.

The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra owners have started receiving a new update that significantly integrates the May 2025 Android security patch level and is identified with the build numbers, L305USQS1AYE9 (40mm)/L315USQS1AYE9 (44mm) and L705USQS1AYE9 (47mm), respectively.

It’s noticeable that the latest update for both the Galaxy watches is currently available in the US (on the Verizon network), and it’s expected that Samsung will expand the build to more regions shortly.

Meanwhile, the new version seems to be a minor security patch that; however, doesn’t bring any massive changes or upgrades; rather it significantly offers the most updated security patches that eventually improves the watch’s overall security and core functionality to provide a more secure user experience.

At the same time, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior, optimizes the overall watch’s performance, resolves certain known issues, and brings enhancements to the existing features and functionalities that provides a more smooth and efficient user experience.

Well, previous reports revealed that Samsung is already working on expanding its Galaxy watch lineup, with the next generation smartwatch portfolio, the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic already rumoured to arrive on One UI 8 Watch, out of the box.
