Samsung’s One UI 7 rollout has been a messy process, as the company is dispatching the update randomly to its eligible Galaxy devices right after rolling out the revised version for the S24 series and more models. Meanwhile, it looks like Samsung is working on the next One UI Watch build, whose beta builds have recently been spotted for Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra units.
The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models received their first-ever software update of 2025 back in January.
Now, a new update hints that Samsung has begun work for the development of the next major watch version, One UI 7 Watch, behind closed doors, which has just been spotted running on Watch 7 and Watch Ultra via the test servers. (report by Theordysm on X)

According to the spotting, the latest firmware is running in its beta channel that carries the ZYDA build number for both the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models. Therefore, it appears like the next major Watch version, the One UI 7 Watch that is based on the newest Wear OS, is not very far from reaching Samsung’s Watch fan community.
However, this testing can’t be called fully assured that Samsung is working on the One UI 7 Watch update that is expected to run Wear OS 6 on top, but at the same time, it seems like Samsung is supposed to be expanding the existing health features, improving sleep tracking for its Galaxy watches, and strengthening its functionalities in order to boost productivity for an efficient user experience.
