Galaxy Watch users can seamlessly download Spotify playlist

Samsung Galaxy Watch users, now you can seamlessly download Spotify playlists to your smartwatches via a new feature directly from your wrist.

Recently, Spotify has announced a new convenient feature that allows users to download music to their logged-in devices, such as smartphones, smartwatches (including Galaxy watches running Wear OS), and tablets. This new integration will let you download music for offline playback on your Galaxy watches, which prevents you from the hassle of operating the Spotify app on the smartwatch’s small screen.

Here’s a catch: the new feature is only available for users who have the Spotify Premium subscription. Users with a premium subscription can easily download Spotify music to their Galaxy Watch from their Galaxy phone or tablets by navigating a few easy steps, as mentioned below –

  • Tap the three-dot options button placed beside any playlist in Spotify >> ‘Download to other devices,’ >> click the Download icon housed right side of your Galaxy Watch’s name from the list.

Noticeably, this feature is also compatible with iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. Apart from this, Spotify is also gearing up to bring other download management-related upgrades to make the app more convenient and user-friendly. Once you click on the Manage Downloads button in the options slide-up menu, it will show you which devices have the current playlist downloaded for offline playback.
